GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Richard Edward Green, 83, beloved husband of fifty-nine years to Mrs. Carolyn Boney Green, entered into rest on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Gordon and Eva Barton Green. A Korean War Veteran, he proudly served his county in the United States Navy. He was the former operator of the Midland Convenience Store. He enjoyed fishing. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include a son, Edward (Rhonda) Green, Gloverville, SC; daughter, Lana (Steven) Annas, Bath, SC; grandchildren, Dana (Nick) Evans and Steven (Kim) Bryant, Warrenville, SC and great-grandchildren, Madison, McKenzie, Nathan and Mia Evans. A private graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC, with veterans honors accorded by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
