Mr. Ricky Edward Smith, 60, entered into rest on Monday, January 30, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held from the Mausoleum Chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park this Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 3:00 P.M. Entombment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mr. Smith, a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, had worked as a salesman all of his life and most recently with Hancock Mill Housing Development. He served his country in the U.S. Army, loved to play golf and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his biological father, Jerry Wade.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Powell; his children and their spouses, Christi Maria Price and her husband Kenneth, Ricky Wade Smith and his wife Kimberly, and Kimberly Ann Smith Lively and her husband Edmon; a step-sister, Ann Beneteau; and his grandchildren, Wesley and William Price, Tyler Wade and Anthony Wade Smith, and Brooks and Landen Lively.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
