KENNESAW, Ga.- Funeral Services for Mr. Robert C. Brineman, 96, of Kennesaw, Georgia, who entered into rest June 5, 2016, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Andy Hunter officiating. Interment in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Brineman was a native of Bluffton, Indiana, a former resident of North Augusta for 25 years, having made Kennesaw his recent home. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Augusta, a former member of the Belvedere Masonic Lodge and the Augusta Elks Club. Mr. Brineman served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and was a retired Construction Engineer with Kaiser Engineering. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Fred Scott, Kennesaw, Georgia; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; a brother, R. D. Brineman, California. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday morning one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to , 5796 Shelby Oaks Dr., Memphis, TN 38134.
