JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Robert Gayle Tolar passed away Nov. 15, 2016 at the age of 90. He and his wife Dot lived in Johns Creek, a suburb of Atlanta, Ga. He had succumbed to congestive heart failure. Robert was born March 21, 1926, in Center, Texas. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1950 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert is survived by his loving wife Dot, and his children, Carolyn White, Donna, Carl, Julie Gray and Steve. His hospitality touched the lives of many people. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
