AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Roddrick Belton Lee, son of Mrs. Phyllis Singfield Lee and the late Mr. Hawthorne Lee, entered into rest on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health- Augusta Hills. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from First Metropolitan Baptist Church, 3719 Belair Road, Augusta, with Reverend Enoch Ward, Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery. *Public viewing will be today from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. At an early age, Rod was baptized at Bethel A.M.E. Church, where he later transferred his membership with the family to First Metropolitan Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Enoch Ward, Jr. Roddrick attended schools in Richmond County and graduated in the class of 1988 at T.W. Josey High School. During his lifetime, he was actively involved with Boy Scouts, winning several trophies for bowling, basketball and being named Employee of the Month at Holiday Inn. He was an avid Atlanta Braves, Falcons and Hawks fan. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Phyllis Singfield Lee; his brother, Renwick Samuel Lee; stepbrothers, Hawthorne Lee, Jr. and Richard Lee; stepsister, Lynn Marie Lee, all of Detroit, Michigan; nephew, Rashaud Samuel Lee and niece, Raven Breanna Lee, all of Augusta, Georgia, and a host of cousins and other relatives, friends and special classmates.
