HEPHZIBAH, Ga. Mr. Royce R. Williams entered into rest on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the V. A. Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Carpentersville Baptist Church with Pastor Sabrina Lewis and Rev. Herman Bing officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Williams was a 1975 graduate of Brunswick High School and retired from the U.S. Army after twenty years of service. He was a member of the Heart of Jesus Church where he served as a deacon. Survivors are his wife, Catherine Williams; son, Derrick (Jaclynn) Williams, Clarksville, TN; daughters, Marie Renee Washington, Springfield, TN, Kimberly Sharpe, Brunswick, GA; brothers, Freddy (Adile) Williams, Augusta, Robert (Cathy) Williams, Brunswick; sisters, Sharon Williams, Freida (Phil) Lewis, Augusta, Joyce (Bradford) Washington, Hephzibah, Tammie (William) Conner, Grovetown; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
