MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. - Sandra Lee Lully, 75, passed away August 3, 2016 in Huntersville. She was born May 20, 1941 in Augusta, GA, a daughter of Tracy Lee and Helen Sheahan Evans. In 1957, Sandra married Philip Edmund Lully (deceased 2011). She worked as the Director of Marketing for First Federal Savings and Loans and was a partner of Collins, Haynes and Lully Inc., a Charlotte advertising agency. Sandra loved traveling, cooking and socializing. She enjoyed spending time with her family for any occasion. Sandra's favorite song was "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel. Sandra raised four children, her daughter, Rene (deceased), and survivors, Philip, Andrew and Timothy; grandchildren, Piper Woods, Zachary Contreras and Talon Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Jen and Nick Millard, Stephen Lully, David and Helen Evans, Charles and Joseph Walker, Tracy Carswell and Richard Davies, Daniel White, Angie Warren and Christy Schools. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Monday, August 8, 2016, Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, with Father Frank Cancro officiating. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen "A Quiet Place." In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sandra Lully's name to Holy Angels, 6600 Wilkinson Blvd., Belmont, NC 28012.
