Homemaker THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Sara Etheredge Twilley, age 103, wife of the late Mr. Thomas J. Twilley, entered into rest Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at her residence. Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 09, 2016 in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Lambert officiating. Mrs. Twilley was a native of Baldwin County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She worked for 17 years in the high school lunchroom and later become a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomson and the Lydian Sunday School Class. She is survived by her granddaughter, Susan (Ernie) Garner, Villa Rica; great-granddaughter, Heather Garner, Temple Ga.; two great-grandsons, Will Garner, Villa Rica and Owen Garner, Sasebo, Japan; numerous nieces and nephews Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to service. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Betty Sturgis, Ida Johnson and Lottie Jordan for the dedicated care and love given to Mrs. Sara.
