JACKSON, S.C. - There are a select few who will touch your life in the most meaningful way. After meeting them, their souls will leave an imprint on your heart and from then on you will never ever be the same again. These are the people you call your Earth Angels. This was Shirley Mae Cobb Little, a teacher of over 16 years at Redcliffe Elementary School of Jackson, South Carolina. Shirley left her precious "children," fellow teachers, and staff Friday night, January 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 64 years young. After her husband passed away, she and her son Seth moved to Jackson from Columbus, Ohio to be near her sister, Mary Lou Cobb Howard. She is also survived by her brother Edwin K. Cobb (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) and numerous nieces and nephews. Always thinking of the children, she requested if anyone would like to make a donation in her memory to Redcliffe Elementary School Library for beloved books, it would greatly be appreciated.
