September 8, 1923 ~ October 7, 2000 Momma, we remember the prayer you tucked us in with: Now I lay me down to sleep... The prayer you embroidered with your hands and hung on the wall. It s still the prayer in our hearts as we end each day and seek Him to safely keep us. You were such a strong mother of faith. Today we pause to say Thank You for a job well done. Thank you for being an angel--guiding, keeping, and instilling in us a true faith in God. Though it s been sixteen years since you left us, you live on in our hearts, forever. Your Children, Shirley, Emma, Alvin, Jr., Charles, Johnnie, George, Warren, and Teresa.
