Steven Harris Wallace, 65 years old, died August 12, 2017, at home, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Steven was predeceased by his parents, James Jefferson Wallace Jr. of Atlanta and Dr. Myra Harris Masters of Little Rock. He is survived by his brother, Dr. James Jefferson Wallace III (Donna) of Augusta; his sister, Carol Annette Myers (Kevin) of Sheridan, Arkansas; three nephews, and a niece.

Steven graduated from Grady High School and attended Georgia State University where he was a member of the tennis team.

Steven lived in Atlanta and Mobile before moving to Augusta. Retired from real estate, Steven was an avid gardener, loved animals and closely followed tennis and horse racing. He enjoyed an incisive intellect and a sharp wit. Steven faced his illness with great courage and was grateful to all his caregivers.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
