Tennant Winn GREENWOOD, S.C. - Suddie T. Winn, 93, of Greenwood SC, wife of the late David Winn, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Born in McCormick County on November 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Rebecca Calhoun Tennant. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she leaves not to mourn her death but to celebrate and rejoice in her transition to her new life: granddaughter Hazel, 'Faye' Winn of the home; two great-grandchildren, James E. Wideman Jr. (Sharon) and LaShaunda Wideman; two great-great- grandchildren, Albrina Brown and Adelyia K. Morgan, all of Greenwood, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by four children, James Thomas Winn, Ollie M. Scott, Suddie Lee Winn and Gloria Jean Winn. The family will receive on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the home of her great-granddaughter, LaShaunda Wideman, at 300 North Hospital Street in Greenwood, SC. Services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:30PM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in McCormick, SC, with Pastor Michael A. Butler officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM to wait the Services hour. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by C.A. Reid Jr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA.
