AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest November 1, 2014, Mr. Thomas L. Lamb, 81, native of Shelbyville, TN. Mr. Lamb resided in Augusta for 41 years following his retirement from the Army. A veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam, he retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1973. His last duty assignment was battalion commander in the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood, TX. He was a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church and of the Military Officers Association of America. Family members include, his wife of 62 years, Anna Yvonne Lamb; his daughters and sons-on-law, Teresa and Andy Scott, and Susan and Don Wyatt; four grand- daughters, Melissa Dye, Emilie Roemer, Christie (Joey) Quick, Amanda Bonifay; two great-grandsons, Claiborne Dye and Leighton Quick; three great-grand daughters, Bailey and Brittany Roemer and Millie Quick. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. November 22, 2014 at Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church, 3551 Wheeler Rd., with Rev. Ed Rees and Rev Robert Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
