AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, July 15, 2015, Mr. Tyler "Buddy" Lloyd Eidson, Sr., 78. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Eidson. Mr. Eidson was a member of George Walton Masonic Lodge. He worked 32 years with the Federal Paper Board and was President of Eidson Home Maintenance. He never met a stranger and was a wonderful father and grandfather. Family members include his son: Buddy Eidson, II (Loretta) of Augusta; daughter: Debra Garner (Ricky) of Bath, SC; grandchildren: Tyler Eidson,III, Evelynn Victoria Eidson, Russell McCurdy, Frances Bodie, Ricky Perdue, Benjamin Garner and Michelle Garner; great grandchildren: Kathy Lee Hunt, Lily Garner, Storm Perdue, Victoria Loretta Blackwood, Bryson Tyler Eidson and Dennae Davenport; and sisters: Zola Maddox and Lilly Sexton; special companion: Marla Jo "Amazing" Heyward; special friend: Richard Looper; and his family and friends from Port Royal and Beaufort, SC. The funeral service will be Monday, July 20 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Joseph Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tyler Eidson III, Butch Messick, Nathan Kelly, Richard Looper, Chris Hanson and Greg Boulware. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
