Virginia James Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ellie Virginia James, widow of Mr. Curtis Lee James, entered into rest on Saturday, October 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd. Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Mrs. James was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Wanda James Hendricks (Jimmy), Donna James Cooper (Lee); her grandchildren, Brandon Hendricks, Jeremy Cooper, Lauren Cooper; her sisters, Kathryn Usry, Evelyn Madden, Doris Turner; her brother, Wayne Smith. The family would like to give a special thank you to her best friend and brother-in-law, Beauford James, for his loving help and dedication.

Mr. Curtis and Miss Virginia were good friends and next door neighbors to my parents for many years to which I am truly grateful. May God's grace, through Christ Jesus, bless and comfort the James Family during their Loss and beyond.
