GROVETOWN, Ga. - Virginia Elizabeth Dowling Walker, 75, beloved wife of 60 years of James M. "Jim" Walker, Sr., entered into rest on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Bethesda Baptist Church with the Dr. Clayton Galloway officiating. Burial will be private. Mrs. Walker was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and cherished all the ladies of her Women's Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother and "Granny." Not only did she love everyone she met, everyone who met her loved her. She gave so much and knew not that she gave at all. "She Loved." Survivors include her husband, James M. "Jim" Walker, Sr.; one son, James M. "Jim" Walker, Jr. (Linda); Debbie Walker Johnson (Buck) and Lori Lei Lani Ferguson (Wayne); six grandchildren, Bryan Ferguson (Jamie), Brad Ferguson (Emily), Kelly Johnson, Lori Johnson, Sean Walker, Jonathon Walker; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Corral Pallbearers will be Bryan Ferguson, Brad Ferguson, Matthew Henagan, Donald Davis, Ray Treadway, and Joseph Lee.
