STAPLETON, Ga. - Walter Bowdri Zepp, 74, loving husband of the late Dorothy Linnenkohl Zepp, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, December 6, 2014 at the Heritage Healthcare of Old Capitol in Louisville. Funeral services with full military honors will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the James Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Born to the late Mollie Agnes Cook Zepp and the late Llewellyn L. Zepp Sr., Walter was born and raised in Augusta. After graduating from Richmond Academy, he joined the Marines, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in June 1978. After retiring from the military, he lived in Hudson MA and taught electronics at Wentworth Technical Institute from which he retired in December, 1993 and moved to Stapleton. A long-time computer "geek", he would repair/upgrade computers and anything electronic for himself, his family and his friends. He enjoyed playing games on the computer, especially brain teasers, and watching TV. Most of all, Walter found great pleasure in being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Walter's survivors include his four daughters, Sylvia Ann Seals (Maston), Gwendolyn Yvonne Reilly (William), Susan Shri Bursch (Lowell) and Georgianna Constance Perry (Timothy); a brother L. L. Zepp, Jr. (Brenda); seven grandchildren, Alexander Millar (Lisa), Ruth Ann Millar, William Reilly Jr., Brian Reilly, David Bursch, Sarah Bursch and Linda Bursch; and one great-grandson, Ian Millar.
