ORANGE PARK, Fla. - Willard A. King, Jr., 56, passed away suddenly in Orange Park, FL on May 8, 2014. He is survived by his sister, Yvonne King, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Albert King and Edith King. Willard was born at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey and spent his childhood in Eatontown, New Jersey, except three years living in the Panama Canal Zone. He also lived in Augusta, GA and Williamsburg, VA before moving to Florida. Willard was a kind, loving person who cared deeply for his family and friends. He loved animals and adored his dog, Lady. He also loved rock and roll music, especially the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Willard was a generous person that was encouraging to everyone he knew. He was a Christian and a seeker of God all his life. His goodness, sense of humor and loving nature will be missed by all who loved and knew him. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to NAMI Florida.
