William Ray Sisk

Mr. William Ray Sisk, 85, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Mr. Sisk was born in May of 1932 in Whitby, West Virginia. He served in the military for 21 years serving overseas tours in Germany and Korea. As much as he loved his family, it was Jesus he loved the most and dedicated his life to sharing the message of Jesus with everyone. Mr. Sisk was a true soldier of the Lord. He and his wife, Jean, were known as the I-20 for Jesus Missionaries. They traveled roads offering love and hope, but mostly they shared Jesus with many truckers and travelers. They shared this same message with the lost and hurting world for many years.

Mr. Sisk is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Mary Estie Sisk; daughters Susan Leigh Sisk and Mary Sisk Maddox; grandson, Justin Carter; son-in-law, Billy Maddox; brothers, Larry Sisk and Paul Sisk; and sister-in-law, Mary Meadows. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mrs. Selva Jean Sisk; daughter, Patty Sisk Whitaker; granddaughter, Megan Whitaker; grandson, Brandon Underwood (Annie); great-grandchildren, Camden Carter (Lesa Moss), Carter Whitaker, Austin King, Lexi King and Alan King; brothers, Jack Sisk (Sarah), Tom Sisk (Dottie); brother-in-law, Rodger Meadows; sister-in-law, Susan Scaggs (Robert); 2 nieces; 4 nephews; and honorary family members, Michelle Amerson & Haleigh Morris.
