MIDVILLE, Ga. - William A. Smith, "Bill," 72, entered into rest Friday, October 16, 2015, at University Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis Gladden Smith; two children, Charlotte Walden (Clay) and Allen Smith (Lori), both of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren, Cameron Walden, Brittany Duncan (John), Kayla Smith (Rhett), Rebekah Smith, Chloe Smith, Olivia Wade (Will), and Kristal Ramirez, all of Waynesboro; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Monday, October 19 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, October 20 at Burke Memorial Gardens with Rev.
