NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Willis Walker "J.R." Reese, Jr., 85, husband of the late Betty Jean Reese, entered into rest on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at his residence. His graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at Pineview Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Sealey officiating. Mr. Reese was a lifelong resident of the North Augusta area and retired from the textile industry where he had been a tender slasher. He was a member of the Methodist church and loved to cook, camp and was known as an "inventor of stuff". He was an avid bowler, a Braves fan and liked to watch NASCAR. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Jack Prather, his buddy. He was preceded in death by his brother Bartow Reese. Survivors include a son Craig Reese (Jennifer) of Vermont; a daughter Beverly R. Shealy (Charles) of North Augusta; two sisters Mae Parker (Herman) and Mag Crawford both of Augusta; five grandchildren Tracy Shealy Johansen (Steve), Travis Shealy (Kerry), Ryan Shealy (Brittany), Dannon Reese and Brandon Reese; three great grandchildren Blake Shealy, Ethan Shealy, Quinn Shealy and two more on the way. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday Dec. 9, 2015 from 5 until 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the
