David was incredibly talented at engaging children; it is with great sorrow that we learned of his death at St. John's. David was Kindermusik teacher for my daughter and sang with us in choir also. He was an amazing ambassador to kids. We are praying for your family in such a huge loss. Praying that the Holy Spirit is holding you all closely now, and that we will all be with David in heaven one day.

David did his student teaching in my elementary music class in Vidalia while he was a student at BPC. He was a talented young man with a great sense of humor, and a heart for children with special needs. Praying for the family.

David, we will miss your Wednesday piano lessons and smile. You never knew what the day would bring with my kids, but you always rolled with it. Hey mom, I think we need to do a time out, was not all that uncommon. Though we will have other instructors, you will never be replaced input hearts. I hope you know how much you meant to our family and how much we looked forward to your weekly lessons.

David was a God-sent angel that taught our son, Matthew with Down Syndrome,to play the piano and read music. May his blessing to us continue to shine in Matthew as he plays sweet music of praise. Thank you David for sharing your talents with others with disabilities and giving them a chance to bless others in music.

What a blessing it was to know you. All my memories of you are filled with laughter, your beautiful smile, and bursts of energy that you spilled on all of us. I love just watching you play the guitar and getting a response out if my students. I thank God that I knew you and for the gifts he gave you. I love you David and I know some day I will see you again. God bless your family now.

To David's family, I offer prayers, sympathy, and peace as you adjust to life without David, a joyful, kind, talented young man. We were grateful to know him for a while at St John UMC Augusta where he taught Kindermusik and sang with our choir. I am devastated to read of his death. Grace and Peace, Jamie Council Garvey

How lucky we were to have David touch the lives of our "kids" in the way that he did. He will be missed and I send my condolences to all of his loved ones.

I had the honor to attend college with David. Although we grew up just minutes apart, we didn't actually meet until choir week at BPC. We sang together, played handbells together, traveled to Italy together and then David sweetly played at my wedding. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God has a pretty awesome angel in his choir now!

You made the biggest and unforgettable impression on the most innocent and most special people in this world. You had a gift of making a remarkable impression on anyone you encountered. Your smile, your voice, your talent, your compassion will be marked on all of us who knew you. To me, you will be remembered as the Imagination Man. Sincerely.

I have no words that could ever define all the good you did in this life nor to express what your absence leaves undone...
You were loved and you had a positive impact in this world- carry on.
