JACKSON, S.C. - Mr. Fred B. 'Hunkie' Chavous, 65, of Turner Road, entered into rest December 15, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, De- cember 20, 2008 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Wright officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Chavous, a native of Aiken County, was a 1963 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. He was a retiree of Bechtel at Savannah Rive Site. He was a member of Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Chavous McFadden (Wesley), Mirranda Chavous (Lance), and D. Tiffany Chavous; two sons, Brandon Ingram and Kevin Ingram; four brothers, Cecil Chavous (Gloria), John H. Chavous (Thelma), Harold Chavous, and Belton Dicks (Nora); four grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor McFadden, Kyle Chavous and Kaylan Kieke; aunt, Elizabeth Spells; a devoted friend, Florence Wright; sisters- in-law, Geneva Chavous and Delores Stevens; a host of other relatives and friends.
