AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Clarence Murray, 69, of Anne Street, entered into rest January 31, 2011. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Bussey officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Murray attended Central Elementary and Jefferson High School. He was a gospel singer, singing with the Dixie Jubliers, The Glorious Kings and the Swanee Quintet. One of his hit recordings was "How Much Do I Owe Him" and many more. Survivors include his companion, Nona Jones, two daughters, Cheryl Murray and Syterria Murray; four sons, Clarence (Siomara) Murray, Jr., Darryl Murray, Jamarcus Murray and Nathan Little; a brother, Mickey (Brenda S.) Murray, three aunts, Lucy Mae Morgan, Isabell Murray and Dorothy Harris; one uncle, Earnest Murray nine grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
