FAIRFAX, S.C. - Jeffrey Franklin Watkins, 48, son of the late Murtice Franklin Watkins, Jr. and Agnes Gray Hadden died Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Jeff was a graduate of Midland Technical College of Columbia in Machine Tool Technology and was employed at Collum's Lumber Mill. Duff as he was called by Carla and the girls enjoyed his time at Lands End, hunting and fishing with his buddies and racing which he inherited a passion for from his daddy. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2011 at Fairfax First Baptist Church with the Dr. Larry Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. Survivors include special friend Carla Thomas-Davis and her children Jo Ellen and Mason of Allendale; his mother and step-father, Agnes G. and Thomas Bud Hadden of Avera, GA.; two sisters, Chrystal Lynn Watkins of Avera, Ga. and Laura Frances Watkins of Aiken, SC.; step-mother Janet Haynes Watkins of Aiken, SC.; and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
