APPLING, Ga. - Ms. Betty Marshall, 56, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the Georgia Health Science University. Betty was a graduate of Harlem High School class of 1973 and was employed at the VA Medical Center. She served thirty-six years with The Masters Accommodations. Those left to cherish sweet fond memories includes her daughter, Kimberly Nicole Gordon; grandchildren, Kadarius Curry and Kamyah Curry; mother, Eva Mae Marshall; brothers, Larry (Sharion) Marshall, Lerenzo (Deborah) Marshall, sisters, Mary Ann (Arthur) Freeman and Linda (Marvin) Clark, aunts, Annie B.Dunn, Carrie Garnett, Dorothy (George) McCladdie, and Wilhelmenia (Robert) Freeman, uncles, Horace (Dorothy) Luke, Scott (Annette) Rickerson; god-sister, Elnora Pernell Kenner, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be 4:00p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012, at The Solid Rock Baptist Church, Scotts Ferry Road, Appling, Ga., with Pastor Larry B. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening (Friday) from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. in the chapel of Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. (706) 790-8858
