AUGUSTA, Ga. - Monte Germaine Walker, 29, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2012, in Augusta, Georgia. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012, at C.A. Reid Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta., with Roger W. Sullivan officiating. Monte was born May 6, 1983, in Augusta, to Marie Brown Ann Walker and William Edward Bill Walker Jr. He had attended George P. Butler High School in Augusta and worked for Hilton Gardens Hotel and Target. He loved people, music, and comedy, and others were naturally drawn to his balance of affability and seriousness. He is survived by three children, Aaron Ramsey, 6, of Greensboro, NC, Talia Walker, 6, of Augusta, and Meela Walker, 5, of Marietta, GA; his parents, William and Marie, of Augusta; three brothers, Anthony Vincent Tony Walker and William E. Walker III, Augusta, and Sidney Cornell Walker, Covington, GA; four sisters, Carmen Walker Harris, Augusta, Janet Marie Walker, Atlanta, GA, Crystal Rice-Paulk, Stone Mountain, GA, and Monica Walker Muldrew, Lawrenceville, GA; two sisters-in-law, Queen J. Walker, Augusta, and Sherri M. Walker, Covington; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Paulk, Stone Mountain, and Isaiah Muldrew, Lawrenceville; seven nieces, Ebony Harris-Armstead, Iris Harris Brown, Titiana Walker, Crystina Rice, Tia Walker, Destiny Walker and Nadia Harris; seven nephews, Xavier Walker, Dominique Walker, Jemele Walker, Sidney Walker Jr., Chad Walker, Christopher Walker and Kristopher Armstead; grand-nieces and -nephews, Isaiah Harris, Jamari Walker, Taija Walker and Giselle Marie Walker; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
