AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mattie L. Weaver-Foreman, 99, wife of the late Dea. Nelson R. Foreman entered into rest Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Gregory M. Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. She attended the Richmond County Public Schools and continued her education at Paine College. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for ninety years where she sang in the Senior Choir. She retired from Richmond Academy High School in 1975 and was a member of the Railroad Retiree Widow Association where she served as Executive Secretary. Survivors are her ten children, Eugene E. Foreman, Patricia F. Ford, Ida V. Forean, Roosevelt Willie Foreman, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mattie F. Streetman, James Nelson Foreman, Min. Susie F. McCall, Gracie F. Smith, Eddie L. Foreman, Elizabeth E. Foreman, Augusta, GA; 3 sons-in-law; 3 daughters- in-law; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; god-children, Juanita Burns, Rev. Guila Cooper, Beatrice Oliver, Nate Williams and Wyman Huntley. Pallbearers will be Tony Ashley, Eddie Harris, Ronald Johnson, Dennis Lewis, Terrance Lewis and C. Jeff Ward. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacon Ministry, Railroad Retiree widows Association, University Hospice and Galilee Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home this evening, Friday, from 6 to 7:00 p.m. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
