AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, January 19, 2013 at University Hospital, William Mark Hinson, 48. Mr. Hinson received a Masters degree in Business Administration from Augusta College in 1991. He worked for Atlanta Gas Light Company and more recently Spectrum Financial Services. Mr. Hinson had a love for restoring Feathercraft Boats and antique guns. No better son, brother, uncle, cousin or friend could be found and he will be deeply missed. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. He was a treasure to all who knew him Survivors include his parents William and Thelma Hinson of Augusta, a sister Donna Murray of Augusta a brother Todd Fulmer of Hephzibah a nephew Cameron Murray and his wife Samantha of Atlanta and his close and long-time friend Amanda Hughes and daughter Jayda. Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his brother Robert David Bobby Hinson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Ron Hinson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Pitts, GA. Memorial contributions may be made to at 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 550-South Tower, Atlanta, GA 30303. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. and following the service at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
