AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy C. Singleton of Conner Court entered into rest Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Trinity Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the United House of Prayer with Elder Micah Scott officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Augusta, GA; a retired Educator who taught over 19 years for the Richmond County Board of Education and a member of the United House of Prayer. Survivors are Elder James Butler, Augusta, GA; two devoted daughters, Jacquelyn Singleton, Augusta, GA and Felecia Griffin, Savannah, GA; one son, Gary (Michelle) Singleton, Dallas, TX; 4 sisters, Mary (Micheal) Martin, and Deloris Combs, Augusta, GA, Brenda (Fred) Crawford, Dallas, TX and Betty Sanders, Dorchester, MA; 4 brothers, William (Sabra) Combs, and Jack Combs, Augusta, GA, Robert Combs (Linda), Atlanta, GA and William (Liz) Verdun, Greenville, SC; 4 grandchildren, Micah M.
