NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Ret. MSGT. Charles E. Ernie Cain, Sr., 80, of Willow Springs Drive, who entered into rest May 26, 2013, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from Belvedere First Baptist Church. Rev. John C. Meyer officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. Mr. Cain was a native of Lake City, SC, having made North Augusta his home for the past 39 years. He was an active member of Belvedere First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Benevolence Committee, past Vice-President of the Golden Ages and served on the board of Community Ministries of North Augusta. Mr. Cain served his country for 24 years in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam and the U. S. Navy Veteran during Korea. He retired as a Foreman with E-Z-GO. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Betty Cribb Cain. Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Marie Cain; two daughters, Barbara Chadwick, Belvedere and Brenda Cain, Augusta; a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Wanda Cain, Graniteville; a stepdaughter Joni Bohacheff and her husband Alex, North Augusta; three grandchildren, Tony Faulker (Beth), Chris Faulkner and Charles Chadwick; and six great grandchildren. Active Pallbearers will be Jim Key, Gerald McNeal, Bill Curl, Terry Watts, Everett Gregory and Jake Farr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Al Jenison, Pete Whitt, Luckey Walker and members of the Jenison Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 6 until 8. Memorials may be made to Belvedere First Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O.
