THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Larry Thomas Coleman, 66, of Whiteoak Rd. entered into rest June 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Larry Morris, Vernon Simons, Leon Wyatt, Jerry Powell, Pat Nordmann and Rusty Hannah. Mr. Coleman was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late George Thomas Coleman and the late Nell Godowns Coleman. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. Mr. Coleman was a Utility Construction Superintendent for Murphey Brothers. He attended Little Brier Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Coleman was a faithful and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Gail Morris Coleman; son, Eric Coleman; daughters, Michele Blount and husband, Steve, Ashley Garthright and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Samantha Sims, Will Sims, Hannah Sims and Ryleigh Garthright; brother, Ronald Coleman and wife, Cathy all of Thomson, GA; sister, Angela Wolfe of Panama City, FL adopted son, Mark Coleman and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
