BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Mrs. Jeane Parish, 71, beloved wife of Mr. Pervis Parish, entered into rest at her home on Saturday, November 9th, 2013, with her family at her side. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ervin A. and Mae Jell Chriswell Parker. Mrs. Parish was a member of Southside Baptist Church and attended Open Bible Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Constellation #97 and was a charter as well as a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteer work at area schools, going to yard sales and crafts. More than anything however, she enjoyed taking care of her family. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her sons, Toby (Catherine) Evans, Beech Island, SC, the late Baby Boy Evans and the late Gary Evans; siblings, Terry Lewis, Rogersville, TN, Linda Block, Evans, GA, the late Lester Parker, the late Carolyn Parker and Phillip Parker, Clinton, SC; grandchildren, Toby Evans, Jr., Tonya Evans, Josh Evans, Vera Evans, Matthew Evans and Selina Evans; great-grandchildren, Kelly Ard, Nickey Lee Ard, Jr., Destiny Ard, Shawn Hutto, Joshua L. Evans, Jr., Toby Evans, III and Autumn Evans and her four-legged babies, Tazz, Chewy, Bianca, Smokey, Rex and Co-Co. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013, at 2 o clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Dan Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Bubba Doolittle, Dick Wood, T.J. Evans, Alex Chriswell, Jyrell Shedd, John Evans and Timothy Green.
