Alvin Terrell Obituary
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Alvin L. Terrell, 93, husband of the late Margie Graham Terrell, entered into rest on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial CME Church with Rev. Paul Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Nellie Terrell, and his brother Joe Willie Terrell. Survivors include his son Rollins Terrell; brother, Clifford Terrell; grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Education Department of Williams Memorial CME Church in his memory. If so desired, flowers may be sent. The family will assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Please sign guest book at www.wmsfh.net. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Blvd.

I can not re-call a time when I did not know Mr. Terrell and his family. He has always been a gentle man that took pride in his career, appearance,lawn and flowers. He and by father were always sharing gardening tips. Mr. Terrell will be greatly missed.

To The Terrell Family,
I wish to express my deepest sympathies to your family. Mr. Terrell touched the lives of many students at T. W. Josey. He was a great Teacher and Mentor, and the Best Dressed Teacher around. I will always remember Mr. Terrell he was a very special person.

Mr. Williams was my mentor and my best friend at the RCT credit union. He was such a kind and sweet man. I know that he will be missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences to his family.

My Sympathies to the Terrell Families at this difficult time. Mr. Terrell was one of my most Favorite Teachers at T. W. Josey (Class of '81). He will definitely be missed an was loved by many. You All are in My Thoughts & Prayers. God Bless.
