Juana Crapse Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Juana Jean Crapse went home to the Father's House, escorted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 14, 2015, she was 64. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 19, 1951 to Calvin and Juanez Beach of Plains, Texas. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. She attended Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute, Indiana, graduating in 1969, and continued her education by obtaining a Masters Degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. Jeanie worked in many aspects of accounting until she retired in 2013 from TVS & Associates, Architects in Atlanta, Georgia and settled in Evans, Georgia. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lieutenant Colonel Lester E. (Gene) Crapse, Jr., Retired on October 4, 2014, in Savannah, Georgia, and they settled in Evans, Georgia to be close to their families. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gene Crapse, of Evans Georgia; her cherished parents, Calvin Eugene and Helen Juanez Lemley Beach of Royse City, Texas; her loving daughter and son-in-law April and Ken Johnson of Evans, Georgia; two wonderful granddaughters Alexandria and Charlotte Johnson of Evans, Georgia; a loving son Jason Oglesby of Bethesda, Maryland; a beloved brother Marc Beach of Kaufman, Texas; nephew Derek Beach of Deer Park, Texas; cousins Jan and Lonnie Davidson of Mansfield, Texas; and all of Gene's family that loved her like their own. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son at 11:00 am, Friday, September 18, 2015, the Reverend Dave Dillard officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home between 5:00 and 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2015. Honorary pallbearers are the men of the Chandler, Gardner, Sechrist Small Group of Warren Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia. Interment will be at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta, Georgia. Remembrances, in lieu of flowers, may be made to International Commission, 260 Continental Dr., Lewisville, Texas, 75067, where Calvin and Juanez worked for Christ more than 30 years in the Christian Mission Field.
