Ronnie Curl Obituary

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Ronnie Wayne Curl, 68, of Ginger Hill Rd., entered into rest December 20, 2015. Mr. Curl was born in Swainsboro, GA and was the son of the late Johnie Lee Curl and the late Ruby Dell Nunn Curl. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Curl also retired as a sales associate with Crane Hardware in Jonesboro, GA. He lived in Thomson for the past few years and was a member of the Wrens Church of God. Mr. Curl loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Curl was predeceased by his sister, Janeen Curl Josey (Ray); wife, Lori Curl and sons, Randy James, Sr. (Rosemary) and Mark James (Pauline). Survivors include his beloved wife, Dianne James Curl; sons, Johnie Wayne Curl, Nicholas Arren Curl both of Jonesboro, GA, Ronnie Lee Curl (Jennifer) of Chesterfield, MI, Damon Ross O'Neal of Barnesville, GA, John James, Jr. of Thomson, GA; daughters, Brenda Newsome (Bobby) of Avera, GA, Sonya Govero (Raymond) of Tennessee; 18 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and a Great Great Grand Daughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Burton, Pastor Rodney Chatman and Chaplain Leslie Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
