James Blocker Obituary
HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - James E. Blocker of Hephzibah, Georgia, passed away at the age of 78 on January 1. He was the son of the late Eddie and Helen Blocker. He was retired from U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He leaves to cherish his wife, Maxine Blocker; one sister, Mary B. Jones; two daughters, Helen Blocker-Adams, Pamela (Willie) Brown; two sons, James (Kathi) Blocker and Darrell Blocker and 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1930 Olive Road.
