Stephanie and family, my heart is saddened by the loss of my great colleague and friend. I could always count on Victor to give words of wisdom and guidance during difficult legal challenges in my career. It didn't matter how seldom we talked, he was always responsive when I called, offering wise counsel and thoughtful encouragement. The legal community has lost an awesome leader and advocate, but heaven has gained a precious gem. Victor will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Victor was my Elder at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Although I didn't know him well, I will always remember the kindness he showed Ronnie and me when my mother-in-law died last July. As a past paralegal for Victor he was always straight up and on point. He always said what he meant and meant what he said. There were times when I would say "ok, Victor, loosen your collar, and loosen up". He would just smile, and ask me, "really?", and I would answer him "REALLY"! He really wasn't like he seemed, he was really a down to earth boss and we worked well together. Rest in God's arms Victor in peace and God Bless your family.

Victor, it was an honor and privilege working with you at Savannah River Site. We crossed paths on a few occasions at work in my position as an Internal Auditor for WSRC but the time I remember most was seeing you at one of the annual Father-Daughter Day Dances in Martinez. It was very evident that you loved your two daughters very much - as much as I love my two daughters. Rest in peace, my friend. I know you are in a better place.

To Victor's daughters, three things to know about your father: Victor was a visionary in the law, coming up with great ideas, that I was only too happy to implement. He was loyal; when I was losing a job early in my career it was Victor who advocated for me which led to my jobs in Aiken. And while being notorious for being secretive about his personal life, the one thing he would open up about was you and how much he enjoyed taking care of you. He cherished you. I will miss your father very much.
