Thomas Nash Obituary
Nash, Thomas 81, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his home. He was born August 20, 1932 in Aurora, Illinois. Thomas attended St. Nicholas grade school and Marmion High School. He retired after 30 years from Austin Western, and then worked 12 years for East Side School District 131 at Bardwell School. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Parish and a lifetime member of the Phoenix Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Betty; their children, Bobbie (Dick) Soris, Barb (Rick) Baker and Mike (Paula) Nash; grandchildren, Jamie (Matt) Sibenaller, Kari (Ryan) West, Kelsey Soris, Mike Soris, Ricky (Angelica) Baker, Christina Baker, Hannah Nash and Morgan Nash; great-granddaughters, Emersyn Baker, Charlotte Sibenaller and Blake West; and his sister, Mary Bermes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Florence Nash; his brother, Mike Nash; and three sisters, Jean Grass, Florence Rasich and Helen Cinto. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 10:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Church at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment in the St. George Section of Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., with a Liturgical Wake Service at 4:30 p.m., at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. 630-631-5500.
