Rendtorff, Richard (Dick) Frank Jr.
passed away February 20, 2013. Dick was born February 11, 1939. Preceded in death by his loving parents Richard (Bud) and Margaret Rendtorff and his brother Alan Rendtorff. A loving father and grandfather, Dick is survived by his beloved daughter Heidi Rendtorff, his two sons Randy, Kristian and Kristian's wife, Jennifer and his prized grandsons Lukas and Samuel. Dick Rendtorff was past president and CEO of University Mechanical and Engineering (UMEC) in Tempe. A trained plumber and member of the Masons, Dick Rendtorff served the United States as a member of the Marine Corp (USMC). Dick Rendtorff was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and a life-long Chicago Bears fan. He relocated to Tempe, Arizona in 1983 and hosted Tempe's "best" Super Bowl Party in 1985, when the Chicago Bears won the 1985 Super Bowl. Visitation will be held at Tempe Mortuary 405 East Southern Avenue in Tempe, Arizona, Sunday, February 24 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
