Lambdin, Laura
Laura Lambdin passed away peacefully on February 23, 2013 at Lund Family Hospice home in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 95. Laura was born in Elk, CA on August 7, 1917. She spent her early years in San Francisco and Oakley, CA. It was in Oakley that Laura Marianne Narducci met the love of her life, Ralph Lambdin. They married and enjoyed 75 years of love and friendship. Their life together was filled with the riches of great friends, family and memories. In 1965, Ralph and Laura made Chandler, AZ their home. After a career with Sprekels Sugar Company, in 1979 Ralph and Laura retired to Sun Lakes. Laura enjoyed cooking, sewing, pottery, oil painting and yoga. She was a founding member of St. Steven's Catholic Church. Laura, a devout Catholic, was active in the Ladies Guild, Prayer Line, Liturgy, Legion of Mary and her greatest passion, a member of the choir. Caring and joyful, Laura devoted her life to her family, friends and faith community. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Ralph, her son Gary and wife Louise, daughters Cheryl and Mary and husband Robert. Grandchildren include Scott and wife Mindy, Lisa and husband Doug, Corinne and husband Kurt, Suzanne and husband John and Eric. Great-grandchildren include Raquel, Josh, Griffin, Sara, Shelby, Chloe, Robbie, Zachary and Alyson. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 28 at St. Steven's Catholic Church, 24827 S. Dobson Rd., Chandler, AZ, 85248 with rosary prior to service at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Steven's Catholic Church or Lund Family Hospice Home, 1982 E. Woodside Ct. Gilbert, AZ 85297. Bueler Chandler Mortuary.

Laura was a wonderful, sweet lady who we had the pleasure of knowing on Toledo Str in Chandler. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
