Hickok, Darrell Carter
85, of Cottonwood, AZ signed his card on September 9, 2013. He was born to Rex R. and Madeline Hickok in Long Beach, CA. A Wilson High graduate and Sports Hall of Fame member, he attended Long Beach City College before becoming a professional golfer. As a PGA Life Member and PGA Half Century Club member he participated in the Players' Championship in 1975 and in the US Open on four occasions. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Broughton Hickok; children Rex R. Hickok of Huntington Beach, CA, Kelly Hickok McAllister of Hawaii, Brian Hickok (Jennifer) of Redlands, CA, MSgt Allison Brown of Phoenix, AZ, and four grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Verde Santa Fe Golf Club, 645 S. Verde Santa Fe Parkway - Cornville, AZ 86325. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Compassus. (http://www.hospicecompassus.com)
