Esther Rabuck (nee Vedder), 88 of Phoenix Arizona, passed away May 6th, 2013 of complications from diabetes. Beloved wife of Andrew Rabuck who preceded her in passing. Devoted Mother to Paul Rabuck, Dale Rabuck and Carol Rabuck. Grandmother to Laura Rabuck, Tara Rabuck-Bowen, Daniel Rabuck, Kathleen Romualdo and Tiffany Romualdo. Great-grandmother to Madden Bowen. She was born February 21, 1925 in Schnectady, New York and was a descendent of one of the founding families of that area. She was active in various volunteer charities such as ICF Food and Clothing Bank and VICAP. She also had her own child care service and was well known by many families in the Moon Valley area. She was a long time member and deacon of the Orangewood Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the choir. She was a gifted master of needle arts and a member of the Embroiders Guild of America. She was known and treasured for her quick cheerful wit, her charity and her devotion to church. Memorial service will be held at Orangewood Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 4 PM. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com for online condolences. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given in her name to Orangewood Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
