Armand Anthony "Hap" Palombo

Palombo, Armand Anthony (HAP)
85 of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully in his room at the Hospice of Arizona in Peoria, AZ on October 4, 2012. Hap was born in Detroit, MI and was a proud graduate from the University of Detroit's Law school. He had a long standing career as a self-practicing attorney here in Arizona. He was also a proud Italian and is a past president of the Arizona American Italian Club. He could speak fluent Italian. Our dad possessed a strong passion for poetry and authored many poems and short stories. He was a master at word vocabulary and an accomplished crossword puzzle enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing and was active in many social activities and clubs, his latest was the Who's Who of Arizona where he cherished his many friendships. He shared a great sense of humor with his five children and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children, Mark and daughter-in-law Patti, Paul, Dave, Steve and daughter-in-law Leslie, Lisa and son-in-law Greg Fields, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also, his sister Italia Rae, as well as many niece and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Tullio, sisters Mary and Angie, ex-wife MaryLynne Heckman (our mother) and daughter-in -law Jolene Palombo. A memorial service is scheduled Friday, November 16, 2012, 2:00 PM at Best Funeral Home, West Valley Chapel, 9380 W. Peoria, AZ 85345.
