Muns, Bettye Westerman Adler
passed on quietly on March 18, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. Bettye Jean was born on December 6, 1927 in Henderson, KY and moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1950. An accomplished author Bettye graduated from Arizona State University in 1984 and served the community as a social worker. Bettye was also the first recipient of the St. Anne's Medal from the Catholic Church, Diocese of Tucson, AZ. She was always proud of her 8 children; John Oscar Adler (Beverly), Cheri Ann Lehto (Neil), Carla Sue O'Neil (Steven Hanna), Nicholas Charles Adler (Lori), James Robert Adler (Allison), Joseph Marion Adler (Lori), Jeanmarie Pattan (Ron) and Clare Ethel Adler (Deceased), 25 Grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Girls Scouts of America in Bettye's name. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ 85204.
