Ciccarelli, Carol
72, of Sun Lakes, AZ passed away on August 4, 2015. Carol Ann Ciccarelli, 73 of Sun Lakes died peacefully on August 4, 2015 at Hospice of the Valley in Chandler, AZ surrounded by her family. The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 12th at St. Stevens Catholic Church, Sun Lakes. Carol was born Jan. 24th, 1943 in Whitestone, New York where she grew up with her 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She was the daughter of John (George) Gierum and Frances Dillon. While living in Whitestone she met and married John Ciccarelli, the love of her life. The couple remained in New York where they raised two sons. Carol also touched many lives during her years as a call center associate at LilCo (Long Island Lighting Company, NY). After retirement, Carol and John moved to Sun Lakes to enjoy the Arizona sun. They relished traveling and spending time with their close friends & family. She was an active member of the Italian American Club, and enjoyed many activities with her girlfriends including Pickle Ball and aerobics. Carol was a kind hearted, caring woman who loved her immediate and extended family tremendously. Carol was a kind hearted, caring woman who loved her immediate and extended family tremendously. Survivors include her husband; two sons John Ciccarelli of Gilbert and Daniel Ciccarelli of Phoenix and 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Stephen. The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 12th at St. Stevens Catholic Church, Sun Lakes. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley in Carol's memory.
