Carolyn Jean Williams

Williams, Carolyn Jean
passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on February 2, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in Peoria, IL. Carolyn was a beloved daughter, sister and a terrific friend to all. She had a love of all animals especially cocker spaniels which she owned three in her life. She was a National Level competitive swimmer, scuba diver and participated in numerous triathlon races. Her interests were traveling around the world, spending time at a home in Munds Park, an avid reader and a long time Phoenix Suns ticket holder. She was a graduate of Indiana University school of Medicine and achieved a Masters Degree from Arizona State University in Educational Multi Media. Carolyn worked as a Registered Occupational Therapist for over 35 years with the most recent time at Paradise Valley School District. She dedicated her life to the children she worked with at various schools.
Survivors are Rosemary Williams, mother; Lee Ann Williams, sister and her dog Emilee Williams. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E.
