age 88, preceeded by his second wife, Cloudette. Dear father of Earl(Jackie), Daniel & Bruce(Hedy). Grandfather of Philip, Rebecca, Kira & Great-grandson, Grant. Earl was born July 22, 1924 in Paintsville, KY. & passed away at Holy Family Home & Hospice, Parma, OH on Feb. 10, 2013 of cancer. He graduated from Henry Clay High School, 1942 Lexington, KY, BS, Anatomy & Physiology, 1948, University of KY., MA, Education, 1949, University of KY. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, 1943-1945, First Lieutenant, Bombardier. Earl taught High School Chemistry & Biology at Lafayette HS, Lexington, KY. He was employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Special Agent, 1952-1966, Assignments were: Oklahoma City, OK; Dallas, TX; Wichita Falls, TX; Cincinnati, OH; Washington Field Office, Washington, D.C. He also worked for the U.S. Department of State, Agency for International Development, Office of Inspections & Investigations, Investigator. 1967-1974. Assignments in Washington, D.C., Viet Nam, India & Africa. Earl was a life member of Lexington Lodge #1, F & AM(Masons), life member Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI; past Chairman of Phoenix, AZ Chapter,1992-1993. After retirement he became a world-wide traveler to the Far East, Europe, Near East, Africa & Australia. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 29, 2013, 10 a.m. at the Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (480-945-9521)
