Eleanor D. Kobak

Kobak, Eleanor D. (Germain)
Eleanor D. (Germain) Kobak , 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 31, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born September 14, 1928 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She married Lawrence Kobak on August 12, 1950, graduated beauty school and opened her own beauty shop. They moved out west to Arizona in 1960. After retiring from Motorola, Eleanor became involved with St Vincent de Paul thru the Church of the Resurrection where she and Larry were founding members. She was preceded in passing by her husband of 59 years Larry Kobak; two sons, Stephen and Keith; her brother, Herman Germain. She is survived by two daughters, Susan and Rebecca (Steve); two grandsons, Samuel and Zakery; and sister-in-law, Goldie (Germain) Cochran. A Memorial mass will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 3201 S. Evergreen Rd, Tempe, AZ on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment of Eleanor's cremated remains will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in memory of Eleanor to the Church of the Resurrection, St. Vincent de Paul Conference, 3201 S. Evergreen Rd, Tempe, AZ 85282. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
