Frank Colmone

Colmone, Frank
86, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of LaSalle, IL, was reunited with his wife of 58 years Lois Lucille on July 11, 2014. Frank was born in LaSalle, IL on July 23, 1927. He served as a PFC in the US Army during WWII, upon his return home he moved to Chicago where he and Lois opened 2 business and started their family. After 15 successful years and three children Frank and Lois packed up and headed west to Scottsdale, AZ. For the next 15 years Frank worked for the Scottsdale Unified School District. After 10 years of retirement he began a part time job with Scottsdale Health Care's neighborhood Outreach Action for Health, driving their mobile clinic. For most of Frank's adult life he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving at all levels in the council including Faithful Navigator. He was loved by all he came in contact with and was always up for a good cup of coffee and a game of cards. He is survived by; Daughter Mary Ann (Rick) Sarantos, Son Frank (Christina) Colmone, Daughter Margaret Dix. Grandchildren Aaron (Carly) Colmone, Matthew Sarantos, Tawni Colmone, Michelle Sarantos, and Allyson Dix. Brother Jack and Sisters Connie and Maggie. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Illinois. Final resting place will be the National Veteran's Cemetery in Phoenix AZ.
